The question of leadership style was considered by Kurt Lewin (Annex 2)in the 30s of the 20th century. He singled styles: authoritarian, democratic, liberal.

The object of study of Levin were 10-year-old boys, who were divided into several groups. Each group was a team headed by an adult leader who professes autocratic (authoritarian), or liberal democratic leadership styles.

Word of the teacher:In life, it is difficult to meet the representatives of these types in a pure form. Too complex human nature, that it can be fit under the definition of standards. However, each manager tends to be a particular way of working. Optimal by itself can not be the one of the main or even the intermediate leadership styles.

Output:Style of work has to be dynamic, changing depending on the situations and facilities management (liberal - arts, authoritarian - the army). Therefore, the ability to lead - the ability to master different styles, changing leadership styles, to develop an individual style. An effective leader is the one manager who is able to identify and take the kind of leadership that best suits the company's policy, its general objectives, the traditional style and values, scope, structure and working methods.
